Overview

The role of the Cashier I is to provide exceptional customer and guest experiences while ensuring that all transactions adhere to company practices for revenue control.

Responsibilities

1. Provide customer service and prioritize guest experiences in every transaction.
2. Process transactions including cash, credit cards, checks, and validation based on parking rates and requirements.
3. Use a radio to communicate with the garage for manual transaction processing if needed.
4. Document all transactions following company policy via shift reports.
5. Be accountable for all cash received and tendered, managing the disposition of payments according to procedures.
6. Maintain cleanliness of the cash register area daily.

Qualifications

• Experience: Entry Level
• Language Skills: Proficient in English (verbal and written)
• Education: High School Diploma/GED

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to sit for long periods and walk short distances.
• Manual dexterity to operate office equipment, including computers and cash registers.
• Ability to process cash and manual transactions mentally.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Maintain a friendly demeanor (smile) during customer interactions.
• Adhere to uniform standards.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to build relationships with customers.
• Organized, proficient with computers, and strong with numbers.
