Join our team as a Cashier and create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Your role will involve processing customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently, while maintaining a welcoming environment that encourages customers to return.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Process customer transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling various tenders including Cash, Checks, Credit, Debit, SNAP EBT, and others, according to company policy.
2. Adhere to cash handling limits and work honestly to control loss.
3. Follow guidelines on restricted sale items such as Alcohol, Tobacco, and DVDs.
4. Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies on postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
5. Stay current with store promotions, ads, and adhere to food safety regulations.
6. Reinforce safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and report issues to management.
7. Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions and providing assistance.
8. Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
9. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflict professionally and acting with integrity.
10. Support and assist customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
