Job summary

Loomis Armored US, LLC is hiring a Vault Custodian in Baltimore, MD. You will work with a team to maintain inventory in our cash vaults for Loomis customers and perform duties including counting, sealing, and documenting deposits and change shipments.

The role requires physical ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly, operate equipment, read and sign records, and comply with handgun license/permit requirements where applicable. Full-time shifts and standard security procedures apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to load/unload bags and boxes weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to push/pull carts weighing up to several hundred pounds.
• Able to stand on concrete floor for ~80% of shift.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently to converse with coworkers and read receipts/reports.
• Must meet state handgun license/permit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Check identifying numbers or seals on bags of deposits and/or change shipments against receipts or manifests.
• Count items, record amounts and serial numbers, sign and date receipts/manifests.
• Load/unload wagons or flatbed carts with bags/boxes of coin.
• Sort cargo items by route.
• Communicate verbally with co-workers and customers by telephone.
