Job summary

Loomis US is seeking an Armed Vault Custodian to join our team in Richmond, VA. You will work with a crew to maintain inventory in cash vaults for Loomis customers and ensure secure handling of deposits and currency shipments.

The role involves a 2pm until close shift, constant communication with teammates and customers, and adherence to safety protocols. Prior experience in vault operations and the ability to meet physical requirements are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to read receipts, manifests, and reports.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift repeatedly for long shifts.
• Must have a valid firearms permit or pass state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Check identifying numbers or seals on bags against receipts/manifests.
• Count items, record amounts and serials, sign and date receipts.
• Load/unload wagons or carts with bags/boxes of currency and coins.
• Sort cargo items by route and communicate with coworkers and customers.
