Job summary

Universal Health Services (UHS) - Western Region Consolidated Business Office (WCBO) in Las Vegas is seeking a Cash Poster to accurately receive, review, and post payments from patients, payers, lockbox deposits, EFTs, checks, and credit cards. You will ensure payments are applied correctly and conduct daily cash reconciliation to verify bank totals and EOBs/ERAs.

Job Description: Cash Posting 7:30AM-4:00PM IN-OFFICE/ POSITION- Hybrid available

The Cash Poster position is responsible for accurately receiving, reviewing, and posting incoming payments from patients, payers, lockbox deposits, EFTs, checks, and credit cards. This role ensures all payments are applied correctly to the appropriate patient accounts, claims, dates of service, and line items in a timely and accurate manner. In addition, the Cash Poster performs daily cash reconciliation by comparing receipts to bank deposits, lockbox reports, EOBs/ERAs, and batch totals to verify completeness and accuracy. The position also researches and resolves unapplied cash, misapplied payments, duplicate payments, and other balancing discrepancies to maintain the integrity of financial records and support efficient revenue cycle.

Qualifications

Education:

Minimum of high school diploma

Requirements:

• 2+ years’ accounts receivable and prior experience in cash posting, or patient accounting preferred
