Job summary

Universal Health Services (UHS) Atlantic Region Central Billing Office is seeking a dynamic Cashiering Specialist to manage daily posting of lockbox, over-the-counter, and bulk remittance receipts. Responsible for day-end processing and cash posting across the ARCBO.

The role requires strong MS Office skills, attention to detail, and 1–3 years in healthcare business office and cash posting. Opportunities for growth within UHS subsidiaries are available.

Qualifications

• Strong MS Office skills required (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Customer-focused with strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, 10-key data entry, and excellent written and oral communication.
• Familiarity with insurance collections and 1-3 years healthcare business office experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years cash posting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete the posting of payments and adjustments daily.
• Complete end of day balancing for individual work.
• Research and correct issues associated with unapplied cash.
• Research and correct other Cashiering Specialist transactions as necessary.
• Match tape and post balances to daily totals.
• Other duties as assigned.
