Responsibilities

• Cash Processing: Researching and applying payments, creating journal entries, allocating funds, and recording agency-related receipts.
• Bank and Lockbox Management: Managing ACH, wire, check, and lockbox transactions, resolving exceptions, processing returned payments, and coordinating with banking partners.
• Accounting Support: Preparing cash receipt and intercompany journal entries, including transfers when payments are received by the incorrect legal entity.
• Disbursements: Processing refunds and payments related to funds received in error.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining processing statistics, supporting monthly reporting, and updating procedures and process documentation.
• Team Support: Providing critical support to Agency Bill and Direct Bill operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The Cash Operations Representativeis responsible for accurately researching, identifying, processing, allocating, and recording cash transactions for Great American Insurance Company (GAIC), Mid-Continent Casualty Company (MCC), and Republic. The position supports multiple bank accounts and lockboxes, manages a variety of payment types, prepares related journal entries and disbursements, and provides critical support to Agency Bill and Direct Bill operations.

Corein‑officedays are Tuesday–Thursday, with the fourth daydeterminedby business needs.
