Zusammenfassung

GAIC Great American Insurance Company in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced insurance operations professional to handle complex policies, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations using multiple systems.

The role includes loading data, generating documents, preparing reports, and addressing premium/billing inquiries. You may coach staff and participate in talent decisions, in a full-time on-site capacity with competitive benefits.

  • May have responsibility for performance and coaching of staff and may have a participatory role in decisions regarding talent selection, development, and performance management for direct reports.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

Job Requirements


Education: High School Diploma (Associate degree preferred)

Experience: Generally, a minimum of 10 years of experience in insurance operations or customer service. Completion of or continuing progress toward a professional designation preferred, such as Property/Casualty Insurance license.

Scope of Job/Qualifications: Expert knowledge of local, state, and federal insurance-related policies. Advanced analytical and organizational abilities with a focus on prioritization. Expert knowledge of insurance data processing systems and leverages broad understanding of the organization. As appropriate for line of business, may authorize new business, renewals, and endorsements following specific instructions or guidelines. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
