IGA Market is seeking a part-time front-end associate to support sales, cash handling, and guest services. The role focuses on accurate cash reporting, processing invoices and payments, and maintaining front-end operations.

Ideal candidates have friendly personalities, strong math and computer skills, and the ability to supervise and train fellow team members while standing for extended periods. Flexible, customer-focused schedules are available.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality and ability to work well with others.
• Able to lift 25 lbs occasionally and 15 lbs constantly.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of front end operations and cashier functions.
• Willingness to supervise and train guest service hosts; strong math and basic computer use.

Responsibilities

• Sales, Cash and Invoice Accounting: prepare weekly cash report and documentation; maintain sales information; process invoices and transfers; process beer/wine payments.
• Cash Related Activities: prepare bank deposits; support cashier; payroll check approval/cash handling; ensure accurate daily cash count; handle guest needs and money orders; process returned checks.
