Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of cashier/retail experience and strong skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with data-entry and accounting-form proficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in cashier or retail is required.
• Strong administrative and data entry skills.
• Ability to perform opening procedures and money handling.

Responsibilities

• Complete store opening procedures including enabling terminals, restarting systems, printing reports, counting cash, and opening functions.
• Daily money duties including collecting monies, counting cash/checks/change, and deposits.
• Fill out and file paperwork and accounting forms.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all current cash register functions and procedures.
• Assist cashier in problem solving as needed.
• General administrative duties including purchasing supplies for promotions and store inventory.
• Perform end of month tasks and submit forms.
• Retail sales duties may include merchandise handling and customer service.
