Job summary

U.S. Army MWR Fort Gordon is seeking a team-oriented individual for a facilities or food service role. The position handles cash, helps set up parties, monitors inventory, and completes daily activity reporting.

The role may involve assisting bartenders and cash handling as part of the service shift. The candidate will need strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to meet age requirements for serving alcohol when applicable and follow pre-employment checks and security

Qualifications

Progressively responsible duties in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody or other processing of cash items.
Where duties involve selling alcoholic beverages applicant must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment.
Skill in providing customer service.
Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

Issues, receives and controls cash receipts and change funds; verifies cash count of funds turned in by cashiers.
Assists in setting up parties according to party plan.
May monitor inventories, place and receive food and beverage orders using Food track or similar software.
Completes Daily Activity Report.
May assist bartenders in setting up bars and/or cashier's bag.
