Job summary

U.S. Army MWR Fort Gordon is seeking a banquet waiter to support event service and banquet operations. You will set up banquet settings, take or serve orders, replenish beverages, and ensure smooth service during functions under supervision.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods is required, with occasional outdoor work and irregular hours. Applicants should meet the 18+ age requirement for serving alcohol and may have no prior training necessary, with training provided on duty.

• Must clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.
• Must meet the state/local age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages (18).

Responsibilities

• Performs routine banquet service tasks under close supervision.
• Sets up and breaks down banquet settings and replenishes beverages.
• Serves set menus or takes individual orders for banquets.
• Stands, walks, and handles food/beverage trays for long periods.
• Position may involve indoor and occasional outdoor work and nights/weekends/holidays.
