U.S. Army MWR at Fort Gordon is seeking a customer-focused Retail Clerk to handle cash/credit transactions, assist customers, and maintain accurate sales records.

You will also track inventory, assist with stock control, and help with end-of-day reconciliations. Responsibilities include providing product information, maintaining clean service areas, and supporting inventory and requisition processes within a fast-paced military resale environment.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a cash register and process card payments.
• Basic math skills and attention to accuracy.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.

Responsabilités

• Accept cash or card payments for merchandise, registrations, or services.
• Turn in daily sales records and reconcile money at end of shift.
• Provide information on availability, prices, and merchandise conditions.
• Record customer traffic and identify trends in comments or complaints.
• Prepare requisitions and maintain stock levels; secure inventory at close.
