Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking a Cash Control Accountant to join the Corporate Office Accounting Team, the Staff Accountant, and the Controller to review financial transactions and count monies while ensuring compliance with company policies.

You will assist in cash/credit/gift card transactions across multiple resort outlets, reconcile discrepancies, and prepare reports. This role requires MS Office proficiency, attention to detail, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Advanced MS Office skills for data entry, reconciliation and reporting.
• Ability to interpret financial data and maintain controls.
• Strong written and spoken communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, auditing, recording cash/credit/gift card transactions and cash register sales from multiple resort outlets.
• Reconcile accounts on spreadsheets, check mathematical accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Communicate results of investigations and respond to inquiries as needed.
• Review financial records to address questions and assist management with issues or complaints.
• Help resolve billing issues and ensure solutions are implemented.
• Compile statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports on cash receipts and profits/losses.
• Fulfill and distribute change orders and maintain accurate ATM cash balances.
• Organize and file records of office activities and business transactions.
• Follow proper cash and credit card handling procedures and complete required paperwork.
• Develop working relationships with banks, couriers and team members.
• Assist staff accountant in daily, weekly, monthly and yearly activity.
• Answer and transfer incoming calls using proper etiquette.
