Job summary

Quality Data Systems, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair cash automation equipment in the Florence, AL area. You will travel within a 100‑mile radius and participate in rotating on‑call after normal hours, with a focus on delivering reliable service to customers.

Requirements include a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), 1+ year experience in field service, and valid driver’s license with a clean record. NCR/OEM ATM/ITM certs are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience or background in installation or repair of cash automation equipment.
• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• 1+ years of experience as a field service technician preferred.
• NCR/OEM ATM/ITM certification a plus.
• People person with strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair cash automation equipment within a 100‑mile radius of home base.
• Upgrade software and hardware.
• Diagnose system issues and perform repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with clients and the QDS team.
