6 Degrees Group in Johns Creek, GA is seeking a Cash Applications Supervisor to lead the cash applications team and own the daily posting process. You will ensure customer accounts are accurate and unapplied cash is resolved quickly, while coordinating with AR, Credit & Collections, and plant teams.

The role is fully in-office, offering opportunity to improve auto-match rates, shape processes, and grow a team within a family-owned building materials manufacturer with U.S., Canada, and Mexico

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of B2B cash applications or AR experience in manufacturing or distribution, with supervisory duties.
• Experience with high-volume cash application, lockbox processing, and deduction resolution.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables); JD Edwards or similar ERP experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Supervise, train, and set priorities for the cash applications team, maintaining productivity and accuracy.
• Oversee daily posting of lockbox, ACH, wire, check, and credit card payments in JD Edwards, ensuring receipts reconcile to deposits.
• Research and resolve unapplied cash, short pays, deductions, and remittance discrepancies with Collections, Customer Service, and plant personnel.
• Support month-end and year-end close with reconciliations, journal entries, AR reporting, and audits.
