Job summary

Qualifications

• Education requirement: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience in supervisory roles within customer service or billing.
• Knowledge of AHCCCS, Medicare, Medicaid and healthcare collection rules.

Responsibilities

• Directs the work of two or more full-time employees.
• Counsels staff and handles employee complaints and grievances.
• Participates in interviewing, selection, evaluations, and corrective action of staff.
• Oversees cash posting, reimbursement analysis, adjustments, auditing, customer service, and statement processing.
• Monitors patient communications regarding balances and protects the hospital's image.
• Performs quality control in cash applications and customer service.
