What’s a typical day as Cash Applications / Claims Processor? You’ll be:
Accurately and efficiently processing client self-bill files and incoming payments to customer invoices/accounts using SAP and related systems.
Researching and resolving complex cash application and data issues by collaborating with internal teams and external clients, ensuring timely application of payments.
Meeting and exceeding business objectives in productivity, accuracy, and cycle time; proactively working with your manager to develop remediation plans when standards are not met.
Adapting quickly to changes resulting from new systems, plans, or benefit designs.
Providing strong customer service and clear communication with clients, managers, and team members. Escalating unresolved issues to management as appropriate.
Generating and analyzing assigned queries and reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Have a High School diploma (required).
Bring at least 3 years of experience in cash application or insurance-related processes (required).
Are proficient in SAP and have a high level of MS Excel skills (you will be tested on Excel as part of the selection process).
Possess the ability to quickly grasp and retain new information and concepts.
Meet a minimum keystroke requirement of 10,000 alpha and numeric entries per hour with less than 2% error rate.
Demonstrate exceptional customer service and strong oral and written communication skills.
Are highly detail-oriented, able to multi-task, prioritize issues, and work well under pressure.
Are comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
(Preferred) Have previous AS400 experience and a detailed working knowledge of computer operations, including web-based search engines, Windows, and Microsoft Office products.
