Qualifications

• Ability to compute charges, balance postings and deposits.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, batch and total patient and insurance checks.
• Post payments, contractuals, transfers, and refunds within 48 hours.
• Balance daily postings and report deposits to Finance.
• Research credit balances and remittance advice issues.
• Interact with patients, guarantors and insurers to resolve payments.
• Open and sort departmental mail and manage petty cash tasks.
