Qualifications

• Experience with Volunteer and Religious Services (VRS) or as an Institutional Service Provider (ISP) in a prison environment.
• Experience teaching educational classes.
• Experience in case management principles.
• Effective speaking, reading, and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of risk assessments and criminogenic risk factors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates efforts to find appropriate services (housing, transportation, employment, medical, mental health, and other social services) from community providers, collateral agencies, and other community partners.
• Provides classes to address criminogenic risks and support for offenders in a prison environment or on a housing unit.
• Helps clients to obtain necessary identification (birth certificate, driver's license, tribal ID, etc.).
• Provides written and verbal communication with Adult Probation and Parole Agents and Supervisor on treatment progression.
• Other duties as required.
