Job summary

The Division of Reentry and Rehabilitation is seeking a driven Caseworker II to support justice-involved individuals through accountability, rehabilitation, education, and coordinated services in a safe, on-site setting at the Central Utah Correctional Facility in Gunnison, Utah. Salary is $24.95 per hour with a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience with educational classes and religious services in a prison environment.
• Experience in case management principles.
• Effective spoken, reading, and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of risk assessments and criminogenic risk factors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates services from community providers (housing, transportation, employment, medical, mental health)
• Provides classes addressing criminogenic risks and support for offenders in a prison environment or on a housing unit
• Works with Volunteer and Religious Services (VRS) or Institutional Service Provider (ISP) to assist offenders toward rehabilitation and reentry
• Helps clients obtain necessary identification (e.g., birth certificate, driver's license)
• Provides written and verbal communication with Adult Probation and Parole Agents and Supervisor on treatment progression
