Qualifications

• Two years of experience as County Social Services Aide 3 with 12 related college credits.
• Bachelor's degree with 12 credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, or related social sciences.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training with 12 sociology-related credits and one year paraprofessional case management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client interviews to gather detailed social histories.
• Explain agency programs and provide clear information to clients.
• Verify program eligibility and document findings.
• Arrange referral services and advocate for client needs.
• Maintain organized records, prepare reports, and manage a caseload using a computer.
