Paycom - ATS is seeking a Housing Caseworker to serve as the primary housing assistance resource for clients. You will assess needs, connect clients with appropriate services, and develop individual goals and plans with referrals to supports.

The role includes ongoing case management, coordinating with housing resources and landlords, and conducting home inspections to ensure HSQ standards are met. Regular client visits ensure progress and service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field required.
  • Three or more years in a customer service role required.
  • Experience in social service case management preferred.
  • Experience in case documentation and file maintenance preferred.
  • Ability to protect client confidentiality in accordance with regulations.
  • Ability to communicate with clients who may have barriers to understanding and learning disabilities.
  • Strong telephone communication skills and daily planning abilities.
  • Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using customer relations systems preferred; E-timekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary housing assistance resource for assigned clients.
  • Determine needs and available resources and explore options or programs.
  • Facilitate access to social services including SNAP, TANF, Medicaid, and mental health services.
  • Develop individual goals, plans and budgets; provide referrals.
  • Maintain ongoing case management per funder and program standards.
  • Coordinate leasing, landlord negotiations, and contracts; assist bridge housing acquisition.
  • Complete home inspections to HSQ standards.
  • Conduct regular client visits to assess progress and ensure service delivery.
  • Coordinate inspections, cleaning and turnover for transitional housing units.
  • Establish supportive relationships with landlords.

Under the Direction of Project Manager, the Housing Caseworker works with existing, new, and potential FCCAA clients to understand their individual housing needs and assist them in securing temporary or permanent housing. This position also provides on-going case management to individuals in need of additional support and services facilitation.Essential Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesServes as the primary housing assistance resource for assigned clientsDetermines the needs and available resources of persons seeking aid and works with them to determine what options or programs are available to themWorks with individual clients to facilitate access to appropriate social services including mainstream benefits, (SNAP, TANF, Medicaid, Medicare), mental health services, drug and alcohol services, community integration services, and other appropriate resources as required based on individual needWorks with clients to develop individual goals, plans and budgets and provides referrals to programs that will assist clients in achieving their planEnsures on-going case management for clients in accordance with funder, agency and program standards and guidelinesDevelops and maintains relationships with community housing resources and landlords within their assigned region.Coordinates the process of leasing, landlord negotiations, and contracts; or assists in the acquisition of bridge housingCompletes home inspections to ensure structures meet HSQ standardsConducts regular client visits to determine individual progress, identify issues, and ensure needed services are being deliveredCoordinates inspections cleaning, turnover for transition housing unitsEstablishes supportive and understanding relationships with landlordsCompletes all state and agency required trainingPerforms other related duties as assignedEducation/ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Human Services related fieldThree or more years in a customer service role requiredExperience in social service case management preferredExperience in case documentation and file maintenance preferredAbility to establish and maintain rapport and cooperation with clientsAbility to protect client confidentiality in accordance with applicable regulationsAbility to communicate with clients who may have learning disabilities or barriers to understandingAbility to communicate well via telephoneAbility to plan and organize daily workAbility to listen and understand information and ideas presented verbally or in writingComputer SkillsIntermediate MS Office skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPointExperience using customer relations systems preferredExperience using electronic timekeeping preferredAdditional RequirementsMust possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving recordMust have reliable transportation to facilitate outreach visitsAbility to successfully pass Federal and State criminal background check and State of Pennsylvania Child Abuse screening
