Job summary

The Salvation Army A Georgia Corp is seeking a Case Worker to monitor a caseload of clients in a short-term life management program. You will conduct needs assessments, develop intake and case plans, and guide clients through goal setting and paperwork.

Regular meetings with clients, progress evaluations, and meticulous record-keeping are essential, along with enforcing house guidelines when needed. A state driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of college coursework in Social Work, Behavioral Science, or a related field.
• Two years experience working in a social or public service environment with experience assisting the public.
• Valid State Drivers License.

Responsibilities

• Interviews applicants based on established guidelines and requirements; conduct needs assessment, obtain pertinent information, and establish program goals for eligible clients.
• Develop intake and case plans for all assigned clients; instructs clients in completing necessary paperwork including goals and/or budget forms.
• Meet regularly with clients to discuss and evaluate their progress; prepares accurate and up-to-date records documenting the same; receives incident reports and enforces disciplinary actions for infractions of the house guidelines.

Education
