Job summary

Family Resource Center is seeking a Caseworker I in California to manage enrollment, certification, updates, and terminations for Subsidized Child Care programs. You will handle re-certifications, NOAs, and family files while assisting clients and staff with appointments and information.

The role requires strong communication, office and computer skills, English language proficiency, and accurate data entry. Attendance is an essential function, with occasional after-hours work as needed.

Qualifications

• A.A. in related area preferred or high school degree and 2+ years related experience.
• Strong computer input, typing, and office skills.
• Good communication with coworkers and community members.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Enrollment, certification, updating and termination for SCC programs.
• Timely completion of re-certifications, terminations, NOAs, and family files.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and provide client/staff support.
• Accurate data entry and filing for SCC programs; maintain case files.
