Job summary

Sacramento Employment and Training Agency is seeking a Family Service Worker III to maintain enrollment at a Head Start site and provide services to families. The role involves coordinating with community partners, data entry into child tracking software, and delivering training to staff.

The position requires 2+ years of caseload experience, an associate degree or credential, and the ability to obtain credentials within 18 months.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience carrying a caseload of up to 80 Head Start/EHS families.
• Coordinate projects, services and activities and follow through to conclusion; data entry into child tracking databases.
• Represent Head Start in coordination with community partners; provide training and technical assistance to staff; monitor files for compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full enrollment at the site and ensure enrollment follows Head Start and State guidelines.
• Provide services to families and support referral continuity.
• Enter enrollment data accurately within timelines.
• Coordinate services with community partners and monitor compliance with plans of correction.
• Provide staff training and mentorship and develop follow-up plans.
