Job summary

Soar Autism Center invites motivated practicum students to join the Apex Program as Case Supervisors, supporting client cases while accruing supervised practicum hours. You will receive structured supervision, clinical training, and hands-on experience under BCBA guidance in your assigned clinic.

Eligible candidates are pursuing a Master’s in ABA or related field, currently in the second semester, and actively accruing hours toward BCBA certification.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in or recently completed a Master’s program in ABA or related field that meets BCBA coursework requirements
• You must be at least in your second semester of your master's or certificate program
• Actively accruing practicum hours toward BCBA certification
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with children and families
• Emerging skills in case conceptualization, client programming, and clinical planning
• Emerging skills in coaching and supporting RBTs
• Strong desire to learn, grow, and receive feedback
• Commitment to Soar's mission and values
• Interest in growing into a future BCBA role

Responsibilities

• Serve as a case supervisor for client cases with scope determined by center needs
• Accrue paid unrestricted hours through client programming, supervision, family guidance, assessment, and other BCBA-aligned responsibilities
• Update client goals and programming using Soar's electronic data collection platform
• Provide support and supervision to RBTs, with coaching and feedback from BCBAs
• Participate in ESDM-specific trainings to grow your clinical skillset
• Learn to develop Behavior Intervention Plans using approaches such as Practical Functional Assessment and Skill-Based Treatment
• Support family treatment guidance meetings using Soar's in-house curriculum
• Assist with assessments and reassessments for clients, including exposure to tools such as the Vineland, QABF, FAST, and ESDM Curriculum Checklist
• Receive coaching and feedback from your Local Clinical Trainer, Partner Clinician, and other BCBAs in your clinic
• Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration with Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, and other members of the integrated care team
• Provide direct client therapy as part of your full-time role, with the weekly mix of direct therapy and unrestricted activities determined by center needs and program progress
