Job summary

Behavior Functions, Inc. in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking a Senior Behavior Specialist to supervise sessions, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress.

This role also entails mentoring Behavior Specialists and Parent Consultants, writing progress reports and service recommendations, and coordinating communications with families. Candidates should have 2-3 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's in a related field, strong admin and management skills, and a CA driver’s license; bilingual

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience as Senior Behavior Specialist or enrolled in the BCBA and/or BCaBA Certificate Program
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Strong administrative and management skills
• CA driver's license, clear DMV report, valid car registration, proof of auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Bilingual in Spanish or Vietnamese is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and parent consultation for the consumer; supervise sessions, create and implement treatment plans, monitor progress and adjust objectives
• Supervise and mentor Behavior Specialists/Parent Consultants
• Write progress reports, recommendations for services, consultation reports, etc.
