A leading community center in New York is seeking a full-time Case Manager for its Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team. The role involves providing case management, counseling, and vocational rehabilitation services to clients with significant mental health needs. Organization Overview:The Goddard Riverside Community Center (Goddard Riverside) and the Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center (Isaacs Center) are well-established Manhattan community-based agencies that support services to approximately 30,000 New Yorkers. Program Description: The Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team is a unique and nontraditional licensed outpatient psychiatric clinic for individuals who have demonstrated a high service need with multiple hospitalizations, emergency room visits and difficulty maintaining stability in the community. ACT is a nationally recognized model and an evidence-based practice. The ACT Team serves the Upper West Side, Harlem, Washington Heights and Inwood.
Position Summary:The Case Manager is responsible for providingcounseling, case management services, vocational rehabilitation and daily support to the ACT clients. The case manager is part of a multidisciplinary team that provides comprehensive psycho-social services designed to improve or maintain client’s ability to function in the community.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Salary Range:$45,000 - $55,000
Candidates must have the required qualifications to be considered for the position. The salaryoffer will be basedonthe candidate’s number of years experience in the exact orcomparableposition and additional preferred qualifications will be taken into account.

This position is classified as a union position under the Collective Bargaining Agreement between Goddard Riverside and the United Service Workers Union Local 74 Collective Bargaining Unit. The union represents employees in the bargaining unit (i.e. Goddard employees in Local 74 union positions). The Collective Bargaining Agreement is a written contract that defines the agreed-upon terms and conditions of employment, including wage increases, paid time off and other benefits, and the grievance process. All employees in Local 74 union positions at Goddard Riverside are subject to and covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Membership in the union includes the collection of union dues on a monthly basis, to be deducted from the member’s Goddard paycheck at a rate to be determined by the union.
