Job summary

The Pascua Yaqui Tribe seeks a Behavioral Health Technician 2 to support clinical teams with case management, assessments, placement coordination, and transportation. The role offers growth through group facilitation, outreach, and professional development.

As part of a multidisciplinary team in Tucson, you will engage in diverse activities across programs, coordinate services, and participate in staff meetings to optimize patient care and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Behavioral Health or BHT Certification, or two years of experience in a behavioral health setting.
• Two years of experience in behavioral health is required or equivalent.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform case management activities, such as assessing patient eligibility for benefits programs and coordinating care.
• Conducts educational programs and group activities when a supervisor is not present.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and complete intake documentation.
• Screen and enroll clients in behavioral health systems and related programs.
• Coordinate contract services and track residential placements for clients.
• Document important information and client contacts in charts and assist in charting progress.
• Provide information to clients regarding client rights and ensure their rights are protected.
