Job summary

Pascua Yaqui Tribe seeks a Behavioral Health Technician I to provide case management and support within the tribal health services. The role involves coordinating client care, educational activities, documentation, and transportation as needed.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and at least six months in a group home or behavioral health setting. Arizona driver’s license is required; English/Spanish bilingualism is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months of experience in a group home or behavioral health setting preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona Driver?s License.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform case management activities, including assessing patient eligibility for benefits and coordinating care.
• Assist in conducting educational programs and monitor group topics.
• Document important information in charts and assist in charting client progress.
• May transport clients to appointments and program activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Participate in Treatment Team Review Meetings and interdisciplinary teams.
• Perform clerical duties such as copying, filing, and scheduling.
• Contribute input on individual clients to the counseling team to support treatment plans.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or director.
