The Salvation Army is seeking a dedicated case manager to assist clients in locating community resources and services as they work toward self-sufficiency. You will conduct interviews, assess multiple aspects of client needs, and maintain thorough case files while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
Ideal candidates have a social work background, at least a year of case management experience, and CPR/First Aid certification.
Assist clients in finding community resources and services to meet their identified needs as they move towards self-sufficiency.
Education: Minimum Bachelor degree in Social Work from an accredited university or a related human service field of study; relevant experience in lieu of education requirement will be considered.
Experience: One year of case management experience
Certifications/Licenses: First Aid and CPR certification; if not certified, must be able to obtain certification within 90 days of hire date
Supervisor Responsibility: None
Include speaking, hearing and vision; standing, bending, squatting and walking; sitting for extended periods of time; manual dexterity; lifting, pulling and pushing materials up to 50 lbs.
Travel: None
Driving: May be required to transport clients to and from appointments and meetings
Work is performed in a typical office environment; may require some weekend and evening work
