Job summary

CommQuest Services Inc. in Massillon, Ohio is seeking a Full-Time Case Manager to join our Recovery Campus. You will assess, plan, coordinate, and connect clients aged 18+ with supports to promote recovery and resiliency in their community.

The role focuses on service delivery for adults with mental illness and substance use disorders, requires strong communication, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team; schedules include days, with some weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related Human Service field preferred; high school diploma acceptable.
• CDCA certification through Ohio Professionals Board is required.
• Experience working with adults with severe mental illness and substance use disorders is highly desired.
• Must possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and work collaboratively with others on behalf of the client.

CommQuest is seeking Full-Time Case Manager to join our Massillon Recovery Campus in Massillon, Ohio.

Case Managers (CM) render services to individuals 18 and over focusing on recovery and resiliency principles as they empower individuals experiencing substance use disorders to integrate, function, and succeed in their natural environments. The Case Manager will assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, and evaluate the options and services necessary to meet the needs of clients. The CM also provides symptom monitoring, crisis management, advocacy, and connections to natural and community supports and resources.

Case Managers are expected to have the ability to establish working relationships with diverse individuals in a variety of settings and situations and must demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively with others on behalf of the client both within the agency, in the community, and/or family setting. The position requires experience working with adults with mild to moderate mental illness and substance abuse disorders.

What you'll do:

• Empowerment and promotion of recovery and resiliency principles.
• Facilitation, education, and development of sober living skills.
• Provides advocacy and outreach on behalf of clients.
• Provides client and family education demonstrating competency in clinical progress notes and supervisory observation.
• Links clients with referral services, employers, family members, other providers, and any/all necessary resources to assist the client in obtaining goals.
• All other duties as assigned

Schedule:

Full-time, Dayshift, weekend and holiday rotations required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related Human Service field is highly preferred; minimum requirement of high school diploma or GED.
• Chemical Dependency Counseling Assistant (CDCA) through the Ohio Professionals Board, required.
• Previous experience working with adults with severe mental illness and substance use disorders, highly desired.
• Must possess strong communication skills, both verbally and written, and work collaboratively with others on behalf of the client both within the agency and in the community.
• Possesses a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and a driving record that is in compliance with agency insurance requirements
