Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking a floater in Las Vegas to train and support attorneys and case staff. This role paves the way for a Case Manager position and is a full-time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, relevant experience, and strong organizational and communication skills. Competitive compensation of $20/hour and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or Support Role in a law firm.
  • Ability to type no less than 35 wpm.
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate with multiple employees.

  • Prepare demands and documents for settlement.

Summary

This role will work as a floater in our office, training and supporting several attorneys and case staff on rotation. This position trains for an eventual move to a highly sought Case Manager position.

Compensation

Compensation for this role starts at $20 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Shadow Case Managers
  • Order medical records from providers
  • Prepare comprehensive demands and assemble support for submission to carriers
  • Investigate the nature and facts of cases
  • Prepare documents and correspondence necessary to reach a settlement in each case
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, Insurance Adjuster, or Support Role preferably in a law firm setting or in a corporate legal department
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and demonstrate attention to detail with a great attitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including good presentation skills
  • Willingness to learn and work with multiple employees within our organization
  • Extensive expertise in computer programs, databases, Microsoft Office Suite, and type no less than 35 wpm
  • Not remote eligible.
