The incumbent provides individual and group counseling, conducts alcohol/drug education classes, and completes required urine testing documentation per agency procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a field related to Human Services.
• 2 years of full-time experience in mental health or addictions treatment, or CAP/CAAP/CAPP certification.
• Alternative: 4 years in addictions with 2 years as a Case Manager I.
• Participation in staff training is required.

Responsibilities

• Interview and orient clients and collect intake information.
• Record and update case files; provide case status information.
• Participate in staff meetings for case management.
• Collect data for grants and program reporting; manage referrals.
• Provide community liaison services as assigned.
• Offer orientation to the agency and individual/group counseling.
• Teach alcohol/drug education classes; conduct urine specimen collection.

Education
