Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include high school diploma with 4 years in hospital finance/revenue cycle or a bachelor’s degree with 2 years in hospital finance/revenue cycle.
• Knowledge of Medicaid eligibility and third‑party reimbursement is preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidential patient records and work in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients or their representatives to collect demographic and financial information for quality applications.
• Provide and explain forms and policies, verify patient demographics, and maintain logs for daily reports.
• Route and file patient case folders for billing and collection, ensuring accuracy and productivity.
• Complete cases according to established productivity standards and update hospital systems with documents.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the department.
