Job summary

Aurora Mental Health & Recovery is hiring a full-time Case Manager for our Homeless Services team in Aurora, CO. You will support clients experiencing homelessness with housing, benefits, mental health services, and community resources, managing a caseload of 12–15 clients and collaborating with therapists.

This on-site role offers flexible schedules (5x8 or 4x10) and comprehensive benefits. A compassionate, proactive professional with crisis intervention skills is encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work or related human services field.
• Or a Bachelor's in another field with at least one year of behavioral health experience.
• Valid Colorado driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Demonstrated interest in behavioral health.
• Ability to assess crisis situations and intervene.
• Knowledge of community resources.
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as payee for clients who require assistance to manage their finances.
• Help clients meet basic needs for food, clothing, shelter, personal safety, and health care, and assist with benefit applications.
• Arrange transportation to ensure access to needed services.
• Provide comprehensive psychosocial services to improve functioning.
• Help clients set goals and plan for appropriate services.
• Guide daily living skills: medication use, diet, exercise, hygiene, budgeting, shopping, housing, transportation.
• Assist clients in finding employment opportunities and supported work environments.
