Job summary

Sanctuary for Families is hiring a Case Manager on a temporary full-time basis, with a hybrid work schedule in New York City. The role focuses on employment, economic empowerment, housing permanence, and program support, with duties spanning assessments, referrals, advocacy, and education-related grants.

The position ends April 30, 2027 due to funding. Qualifications include an Associates degree (Bachelor’s preferred) and 1+ year in social services (DV experience preferred); bilingual

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; bachelor’s preferred.
• At least 1 year in social services, DV experience preferred.
• Fluency in English and Spanish or another community language preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Assess immediate needs and refer clients for rapid rehousing and stabilization.
• Provide aftercare, case management and advocacy in the rapid rehousing program.
• Identify strengths and barriers, connect to resources and services.
• Conduct follow-up visits to support stability and progress toward self-sufficiency.
