Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Associate's degree with 1 year of experience or high school diploma with 2+ years in human services.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle; willing to transport individuals.
• Strong computer skills and English communication (written and verbal).
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop curriculum and structured programming to promote independence and growth.
• Design and implement activity schedules and therapeutic/recreational programming.
• Provide direct skills training and individualized support.
• Develop creative, innovative programming to enhance engagement and empowerment.
• Collect and maintain daily data, progress notes, and semi-annual reports.
• Provide direct care and support with activities of daily living as needed.
• Maintain active communication with families, funders, consultants, and team members.
• Participate in team meetings, supervision, and required trainings.
• Maintain certifications including First Aid, CPR, Safety Care, and HR/DPPC.
• Ensure all services align with Advocates' Human Rights Policy and organizational values.
