Case Manager – IHBT Youth

Would you rather work closely with a small caseload (no more than 12 clients on your caseload at a time) and with a team-based approach? Do you prefer flexible hours, working in the community, and not being stuck behind a desk? Do you want to work in a program that offers extensive training and support to help you reach your career goals? If so, the Intensive-Home Based Treatment (IHBT) clinical therapist position might be right for you!

Case Manager – IHBT Youth

Do you want to work in a program that offers extensive training and support to help you reach your career goals? If so, the Intensive-Home Based Treatment (IHBT) clinical therapist position might be right for you!

This position provides IHBT case management services to children and families with behavioral health and family functioning needs. IHBT services are designed to flexibly meet the needs of youth, including appointments in the community and flexible hours. Position works collaboratively with a clinical therapist to provide time-limited, short-term family involvement, while having a long-term impact.

Education/Experience/Other Requirements:

• Requires a minimum bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.
• Must be willing to meet Ohio MHAS criteria for qualified mental health specialist (QMHS) if not licensed.
• Requires valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle and access to reliable transportation.
• Must be able to be insured under the agency’s commercial liability policy as a driver.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of mental illness, individual, group counseling skills, assessment skills, and crisis intervention skills.
• Must be able participate in a 24/7 on call rotation, with premium call pay included
• Must be able to work with children with complex behavioral health needs
• Preferred experience working with youth and families.
  
  

Primary Duties:

• Provides intensive home based treatment services to clients assigned to the IHBT team in accordance with the State mandates and established Agency and program policies, procedures, philosophy and client individual service plan.
• Documents all services provided and maintains records utilizing the electronic record in accordance with agency policy/procedure.
• Maintains client confidentiality and ensures release of information is handled in accordance with federal guidelines and agency policy/procedures.
