Job summary

The Kintock Group, Inc. is seeking a staff member to provide intake, assessment, and case management services for clients in Newark, NJ.

The role involves ongoing program eligibility assessment, care monitoring, and delivering individual counseling or psycho-educational classes at the Director's discretion. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating care, making referrals, educating clients on participation and rights, and maintaining accurate case notes and files.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in social/human services, criminal justice or behavioral science.
• At least one year of experience in human services, corrections, or community-based services.
• Total work experience may substitute for education and vice versa (five years total).
• Valid NJ Driver’s license; supervisory experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive care plan addressing client needs.
• Provide information and referrals to community and agency services.
• Educate clients on program participation, rights, and appeal rights.
• Utilize case management to link clients and families to resources and services.
• Develop and revise client-focused care plans with clients.
