Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required
• One year related experience and/or training
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other technology
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on treating clients with respect and dignity
• Able to multi-task and work independently with a great attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Conduct intakes and screen clients with presenting problems, if required.
• Provide accurate information on benefits, entitlements, programs and case assistance; assist in accessing services.
• Apply and recertify clients for entitlements and benefits; arrange for provision of services.
• Maintain complete and accurate case notes in the data system; monitor reassessment and contacts.
• Prepare and maintain required documentation in case files; compile statistics and reports.
• Supervise social work students, as needed; arrange translation services when required.
• Adhere to organizational policies and participate in supervision and staff meetings.
