Job summary

OHARA, LLC seeks a Case Manager Supervisor (RN) to lead a team of nurse case managers delivering patient-centered care. You will coach, mentor, and evaluate staff, drive performance, and ensure quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

You will monitor workloads, perform audits, and collaborate with leadership to meet URAC standards while supporting growth and change across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Workers' Compensation case management experience.
• Prior supervisory or people-management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proven interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems.
• Sound clinical judgment and decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding, training, mentorship, and ongoing development of nurse case managers.
• Foster a collaborative culture built on accountability and continuous learning.
• Coach staff through performance management and career growth.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support development initiatives.
• Monitor caseloads, productivity, and workflow distribution.
• Perform case audits and quality reviews with constructive feedback.
• Ensure compliance with URAC standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Track KPIs and quality outcomes; participate in strategic planning.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and workforce planning; travel up to 25%.

What You'll Do

Lead & Develop Your Team

• Guide the onboarding, training, mentorship, and ongoing development of nurse case managers.
• Foster a positive, collaborative culture built on accountability, respect, and continuous learning.
• Coach employees through performance management, professional development, and recognition opportunities.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support career growth initiatives.

Ensure Quality & Excellence

• Monitor caseloads, productivity, and workflow distribution to support operational success.
• Perform case audits and quality reviews, providing constructive feedback and recommendations.
• Serve as a clinical and operational resource for staff members.
• Partner with leadership to ensure compliance with URAC standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, enhance efficiency, and elevate service quality.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs), productivity metrics, and quality outcomes.
• Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address challenges and support business objectives.
• Participate in strategic planning and organizational initiatives that shape the future of our case management services.

Support Growth

• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, workforce planning, and employee retention efforts.
• Participate in customer relations, business development, and marketing initiatives as needed.
• Travel up to 25% to support operations and team needs.

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience

• 3 to 5 years of Workers' Compensation Case Management experience or related experience required
• Prior supervisory, leadership, or people-management experience preferred
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Outstanding interpersonal and relationship‑building skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and database systems
• Sound clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision‑making capabilities

Licenses & Certifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current CCM (Certified Case Manager) credential or another URAC‑approved certification, or the ability to obtain certification within three years of employment
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
