Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking a Case Management Manager to assist in the development, planning, coordination, and administration of the Case Management department. As a key resource, you will serve as the first level in the Case Management chain of command for staff support and issue escalation.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), is licensed as a Registered Nurse in Alabama, and has 3 years of case or utilization management experience, plus at least 1 year

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing is required.
• BSN preferred.
• Three years of case management or utilization management experience preferred.
• RN with at least one year of clinical experience on a medical/surgical unit.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the health care team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, planning, coordination, and administration of the Case Management department.
• Serve as resource and first level in the Case Management chain of command for staff support and escalation of issues.
