Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando is seeking a part-time Health Operations/Support role to contribute to compassionate patient care and efficient department operations. The role emphasizes teamwork, scheduling, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have strong organizational and computer skills, basic typing, and familiarity with scheduling systems. A preferred Associate degree and experience in healthcare are advantageous, with benefits starting from Day One.

Responsibilities

• Keeps the supervisor informed and seeks assistance and direction when confronted with unfamiliar procedures and techniques.
• Manages time and equipment effectively and works as a team member, complying with supervisor's special requests as situations dictate.
• Alerts appropriate individuals of any safety issues and participates in the department's overall quality improvement efforts.
• Participates in process or performance improvement teams and proactively initiates process improvement ideas.
• Communicates with the Anesthesia Charge Person and the Anesthesia Department for scheduling and the coordination case flow.
• Schedules cases on a first come/first serve basis while accommodating emergencies.
