The Children’s Advocacy Center of SW Florida, Inc. is a busy nonprofit in Fort Myers providing abuse determination services, therapeutic counseling, parenting education and prevention programs.

We seek a full-time Case Coordinator to conduct clinical and forensic assessments and coordinate services for children and families; collaborate with law enforcement and legal, medical, mental health and social service communities.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have a valid driver license
• Must be able to respond to emergency calls at all hours, when on call
• Must be able to attend out of town trainings and conferences
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
• Must have bachelors degree in a human service field. Masters preferred.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years post-baccalaureate experience working with children and families. One year of which must be work with abused or neglected children.

Responsibilities

• Conduct specialized clinical and forensic interviews of children.
• Coordinate services and referrals for families in the community.
• Compile accurate, comprehensive reports and forward within required timeframes.
• Participate in multidisciplinary staffing and develop professional recommendations for treatment.
• Provide depositions and court testimony as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date client records and documentation.
• Conduct trainings for professional staff and others as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as required.
