Case Assistant - Miami

La Cava Jacobson, P.A., an AV Preeminent rated Florida Defense Firm, handles litigation and appeals in all Florida state and federal courts. With over 35 attorneys across 6 offices, we serve clients throughout the State of Florida.

The Miami office of La Cava Jacobson, P.A. is currently seeking a Full-time Case Assistant with a heavy focus on managing the subpoena and records retrieval process.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Interface with outside records subpoena vendor to manage process for preparing necessary documents to obtain records from non-parties.
  • Uploading data and relevant case information to outside vendor, which will facilitate preparation and issuance of necessary documents and pleadings.
  • Maintain internal charts/logs of record requests and receipt.
  • Assist paralegals with creation of necessary pleadings to subpoena records.
