Job summary

Auberle in McKeesport, PA seeks a Case Aide to build trusting relationships with families and young people in foster care. You will transport, supervise children, promote normalcy, and document activities to ensure safety and reporting accuracy.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid PA driver’s license with reliable transportation, and the ability to travel frequently across the greater Pittsburgh area, including evenings or weekends. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a strong, trusting relationship with the families served and young people placed to foster engagement and support growth.
• Provide emotional support as you transport and supervise children and families as assigned.
• Promote normalcy experiences, such as playing at a park or preparing a meal together, where you will teach & guide parents towards safe practices that promote attachment throughout visitation while ensuring safety of the clients involved.
• Communicate effectively and thoroughly with all team members including parents, professionals, and clients.
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely documentation to ensure safety and provide effective tracking and reporting.
• Support assigned Case Manager with their caseload.

Foster care programs work diligently to make sure that children in the foster care system receive the care, stability, and guidance they need to thrive. This pivotal role involves advocating for the well-being of children placed in resource homes, working closely with natural and resource families to create a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.
