Job summary
Bethany Christian Services is seeking a Transitional Foster Care Case Aide to support transportation, intake procedures, and coordination with families and treatment teams. The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, language interpretation, and maintaining boundaries with youth in care.
Responsibilities include assisting medical and social services teams, reporting behavioral observations, and providing supervision as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual: English and Spanish.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be willing to provide language interpretation.
Responsibilities
- Provide transportation to clients for medical, legal appointments, hearings, and other social services.
- Report behavior of children during transportation to foster parents and treatment team.
- Assist with intake and discharge transportation including inter-state travel for reunification.
- Assist the medical team with administrative tasks as needed.
- Provide interpretation services for appointments in the community.
- Supervise youth in classroom settings when needed; maintain professional boundaries.
