Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in social work and four years of program-related experience.
  • Three years' experience supervising employees or equivalent management experience.
  • Knowledge of Washington state dependency law and related child welfare topics.
  • Ability to travel throughout King County.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, select, train and supervise staff; evaluate performance and provide coaching.
  • Provide direct services as needed, including mediation, crisis intervention, supervise volunteers, manage dependency cases as Guardian ad Litem.
  • Promote and facilitate communication between the CASA program and community agencies, associations, and the general public.
  • Present regularly to community groups and volunteers; assist judicial officers and other organizations with related projects.
  • Assist in organization and management of the program; help determine goals, develop policies, and monitor case management and data systems.
  • Assist with supervision, oversight and curriculum maintenance of training.
  • Perform other duties of a similar nature and level.
